Applies an Effect on the target unit or point. These effects are different from Instant Effects because they require the player to specify the target or location for the effect to occur.


Fields

  • (Basic) Ability: Name - The name of the ability.
  • (Basic) Ability: Arc - The arc around the casting unit that the target must be in.
  • (Basic) Ability: Commands+ - Data relating to specific commands for the ability. This field can set any requirements necessary for the ability to work as well as changing the default button.
  • (Basic) Ability: Place Unit - The placement footprint you want to show up while while targeting with this ability, if the ability is being used to create a unit (i.e. creating a defensive turret at the target point).
  • (Basic) Ability: Placeholder Unit - Ghost placement image for the ability.
  • (Basic) Ability: Tracking Arc - Unknown.
  • (Basic) Ability: Uninterruptible - The stage(s) at which the ability cannot be interrupted by the player.
  • (Basic) Command Card: Learn Button Image+ - Specifies a button image to use for learning a new level for each level of this ability.
  • (Basic) Command Card: Learn Button Name+ - Specifies a button name to use for learning a new level for each level of this ability.
  • (Basic) Command Card: Learn Button Tooltip+ - Specifies a button tooltip to use for learning a new level for each level of this ability.
  • (Basic) Command Card: Learn Button Tooltip Image+ - Specifies a button tooltip image to use for learning a new level for each level of this ability.
  • (Basic) Command Card: Level Button Image+ - Specifies a button image to use for each level of this ability.
  • (Basic) Command Card: Level Button Name+ - Specifies a button name to use for each level of this ability.
  • (Basic) Command Card: Level Button Tooltip+ - Specifies a button tooltip to use for each level of this ability.
  • (Basic) Command Card: Level Button Tooltip Image+ - Specifies a button tooltip image to use for each level of this ability.
  • (Basic) Cost: Cost+ - The cost of using this ability.
  • (Basic) Effect: Cursor Effect+ - Linking to a Search Area effect turns the targeting cursor into an area of effect cursor. Use in conjunction with a Splat Actor to display the cursor.
  • (Basic) Effect: Effect+ - The effect that occurs when the ability is used.
  • (Basic) Stats: Cast Finish Time+ - The minimum amount of time the casting unit must be in the "Channel" phase.
  • (Basic) Stats: Cast Start Time+ - The duration of the "Cast" phase.
  • (Basic) Stats: Finish Time+ - The duration of the "Finish" phase, which occurs after the effect has been applied.
  • (Basic) Stats: Flags+ - Flags set for the ability.
  • (Basic) Stats: Prepare Time+ - Duration of the "Prepare" phase which happens between the Approach and Cast phases.
  • (Basic) Stats: Range+ - The maximum range the target can be from the casting unit.
  • Ability: Auto Cast Filters - Determines what can be targeted automatically via autocast based on what is enabled, required, excluded, and allowed.
  • Ability: Auto Cast Validators - Specific validators used to determine if the target is valid when autocast is on.
  • Cost: Refund Fraction+ - Assuming it costs anything to cast the ability, this determines how much of that cost is refunded when the ability is cancelled.
