Physics Engine Collision Detection
--LenSe (talk) 04:33, 4 December 2015 (PST)I am not entirely certain on this, but as far as I am aware, Starcraft II does not have any actual hit detection. The GPU physics are entirely visual, and since a lot of graphics cards do not support it, it does not tie in with actual gameplay. Any seeming hit detection in the game is either done through search effects or has the impact location set in stone at launch.
Again, I would love to be wrong, but I doubt there is any collision detection to speak of.
