The following is a list of frequently asked questions for editors.

How do I create pages?

First, you must navigate to the page to be created. To do this, type the article title into the search box at the left, and hit "Go". You'll end up on a search results page, telling you that no matching articles were found.

Here, there are two links that can be used to create an article. At the top, you'll see text that says "You searched for [whatever you searched for]". If you click the red link there, you'll be taken to an edit form. Save your edits and the page will be created.

Alternatively, you can look down, and click the link in "There is no page titled [whatever you searched for]. You can create this page".

How do I link to categories?

You may find that when you attempt to link to a category, the link disappears. If you look really carefully, you'll also notice that the page your editing is in the category you were trying to link to.

To actually link to a category instead of categorizing the current page, prefix the link target with a colon.

[[Category:Test]] -> [[:Category:Test]]

Why is a link red, and what can I do to fix it?

Links are colored red when the page they link to doesn't exist. If you're trying to link to a page, but the link turns red, then make sure of the following:

The page actually exists.
If the page doesn't exist, then the only way to fix the link is to create the page. See How do I create pages? for help.
You have the pluralization right.
Normally, articles have redirects so that this isn't a problem. For example, Doodad redirects to Doodads. This may not be the case for new articles, however.
You've spelled the title properly.
Use a spell checker on your text, if you think it will help.

If all else fails, you can search for the article title. If you've made any errors in the page's spelling or capitalization, you can correct them by simply copying and pasting the article title once you find it.
